RESEARCH VISIT TO THE A.P. ERSHOV INSTITUTE OF INFORMATICS SYSTEMS, SB RAS

From May 13 to May 27, 2026, a research visit was carried out within the framework of the project to the A.P. Ershov Institute of Informatics Systems of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Novosibirsk, Russia). The visit focused on scientific collaboration and the exchange of experience in the fields of text processing, speech data visualization, speech synthesis, and motion recognition technologies. Particular attention was given to the linguistic adaptation of the developed system and the evaluation of its functional modules.

The scientific meetings involved leading researchers of the A.P. Ershov Institute of Informatics Systems, including Yu.A. Zagorulko, V.B. Barakhnin, and E.A. Sidorova. The discussions were also attended by the project leader A.S. Yerimbetova (online), Senior Researcher Turdalyuly M., and Researcher E.N. Daiyrbayeva and Software Engineer B.E. Sakenov. The participants reviewed the results achieved in the linguistic adaptation of the system, the implementation of speech synthesis and motion recognition modules, and discussed effective approaches for testing and validating the developed solutions. In addition, joint meetings with the institute’s software engineers were held to examine the system architecture, information security mechanisms, and data storage methods.

As a result of the visit, agreements were reached on further scientific cooperation and the continuation of joint research activities. The participants also discussed opportunities for preparing collaborative publications in high-ranking international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, identifying key research directions and publication topics. The visit contributed to strengthening scientific and technical collaboration between research teams from Kazakhstan and Russia and laid the foundation for future joint initiatives in the field of advanced information technologies and inclusive digital solutions.
