From May 15 to 17, 2026, the institute’s staff participated in the 3rd International Conference on Emerging Trends and Applications in Artificial Intelligence held at Istanbul Technical University in the Republic of Türkiye

The conference served as an international scientific platform for discussing modern research and innovative solutions in the fields of artificial intelligence, information technologies, cybersecurity, and data protection. The event brought together scientists, researchers, university representatives, and IT specialists from different countries around the world.

During the conference, the staff of the Information Security Laboratory delivered a presentation entitled “Lightweight Symmetric Block Cipher CF: Structure, Key Schedule and Avalanche Properties“ and “Security Analysis of the HAS02 Hashing Algorithm,” presenting the results of their research in the fields of information security and cryptography. The presentation addressed the structure of lightweight symmetric block ciphers, key scheduling mechanisms, avalanche properties, and security analysis of hashing algorithms.

Within the framework of the conference, participants exchanged experience and discussed the development of artificial intelligence technologies, information security, modern data protection approaches, and post-quantum cryptography, while also strengthening international scientific cooperation.

Participation in this international conference contributed to presenting the institute’s research outcomes at the international level, exchanging professional experience, and expanding collaboration with foreign scientists and researchers.
