Research fellows of the Institute of Information and Computing Technologies (IICT) Omarova P.T., Ataniyazova A.S. and Bayekova G.E. made a working trip to the city of Astana, where they took part in a series of events aimed at developing scientific cooperation and exchanging expert knowledge

The main purpose of the visit was to discuss the interim results of research work on the project AP26101793 “Modeling the spread of greenhouse gases and predicting the impact of pollution levels on the environment using numerical methods and artificial neural networks,” as well as the preparation of a joint scientific publication.

As part of the business trip, IIVT representatives visited Astana IT University, including the Smart City laboratory, where they got acquainted with current developments and prospects for the digital transformation of urban infrastructure. In addition, a meeting was held at Nazarbayev University with assistant professor Erlan Amanbek, during which the objectives of the project, modern approaches to modeling and possible areas for further cooperation were discussed in detail.

The working trip took place from November 24 to 30, 2025 and became an important step in strengthening scientific ties and developing joint research initiatives.
