ON NOVEMBER 27, THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES UNDER THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN HOSTED THE KAZAKHSTAN–CHINA FORUM ON COOPERATION IN SCIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRANSPORT TECHNOLOGIES
This collegiate Forum, dedicated to the development of scientific diplomacy, education and transport technology cooperation between Kazakhstan and China, is organized to bring together representatives of the academic community, leaders of the transport industry and innovative research centers, to strengthen cooperation in the formation of a global research space and the training of talents in key areas.
The strategic significance of the Forum reflects the growing role of coordination of international scientific initiatives at the state level and the solidity of the institutional framework for the development of a global research space.
The official opening of the Forum and the welcoming of the participants were entrusted to the Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences, Professor Serikkanov Abay Serikkanovich.
The Forum was chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the “Transport Science” Section established at the National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Amirgalyieva Saltanat Nuradilykyzy.
The Alliance for Talent Training in the Field of Transport Infrastructure Development between China and Five Central Asian Countries/Achievements of the Alliance – Strengthening Human Capital in the Field of Transport Infrastructure Talent Training and Implementing Transnational Transport Projects between Kazakhstan, China and Central Asian Countries and the Development of the Alliance, was presented by the Secretary of the Alliance, Vice President of Chang’an University, Professor Fan Wen.
The thematic reports of the forum focused on topical issues
The Smart Logistics industry has entered a new stage of development globally with the help of Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT) and digital transport management technologies. Professor Sun Qipen, Dean of the School of Economics and Management of Chang’an University, made a topical report on the technological prerequisites for intelligent logistics and the Silk Road e-commerce initiative.
The strategic research direction for improving efficiency, reliability and durability in the field of transport engineering, innovative and additive materials, academician U.A. The report on an important topic by the Director General of the Dzholdasbekov Institute of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering, Professor Ualiev Zair Gahipuly and PhD, Associate Professor Khabiev Alibek Talgatbekuly attracted the attention of the participants.
Professor Ma Feng shared his scientific research on the topic of preparation and application of phase change materials (Phase Change Materials) in road engineering.
On the topic of studying and reducing the formation of slag in asphalt concrete pavements, Chairman of the “Transport Science” section of the National Academy of Sciences, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Bagdat Burkhanbayevich Teltayev presented his scientific discoveries.
A very important and historic moment at the forum was the ceremonial presentation of certificates confirming their official membership in the “Union for Training Talents in the Field of Transport Infrastructure Development between China and Five Central Asian States” to scientific research and academic organizations of Kazakhstan:
The forum discussed the development of strategic international partnership and applied science, as well as directions for talent training, and provided an opportunity to strengthen ties between research, academic, industrial and international organizations and partners. 4 new organizations have joined the “Union for Talent Training in the Field of Transport Infrastructure Development between China and Five Central Asian States”.
