X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Computer Science and Applied Mathematics”

X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Computer Science and Applied Mathematics” (CSAM-2025) Continues in Almaty.

From October 8 to 11, 2025, the X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Computer Science and Applied Mathematics” (CSAM-2025) is being held in Almaty. The event is organized by the Institute of Information and Computational Technologies of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in collaboration with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Turan University, and Lublin University of Technology (Poland).

Today, October 10, 2025, the conference continues its work, marking the third day of an intensive scientific program. Over these days, participants have been actively discussing pressing issues in the fields of computer science, applied mathematics, and digital technologies.

The event has brought together leading scientists, researchers, representatives of government institutions, IT companies, and universities from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Poland, Turkey, Japan, Vietnam, Hungary, Georgia, Greece, and other countries.

The official opening of the conference took place on October 9, 2025, at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (U.A. Dzholdasbekov Red Hall). Welcoming remarks were delivered by the Chairman of the International Program Committee, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Maksat Nuradilovich Kalimoldaev, and the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at Al-Farabi KazNU, PhD, Associate Professor Margulan Kasenovich Ibraimov.

The conference program includes plenary sessions and four thematic tracks:   

  • Mathematical Modeling, Optimization, and Computational Analysis;
  • Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Data Science, and Intelligent Systems;
  • Innovations in Computer Science and Engineering Management;
  • Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Digital Trust.

 

On the third day of the conference, thematic sessions and discussions continue, during which participants present their research findings, discuss modern methods and technologies, and explore potential directions for further scientific collaboration. Special attention is given to the development of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and digital security.

Participants take an active part in the work of thematic tracks:
– Mathematical Modeling, Optimization, and Computational Analysis;

– Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Data Science, and Intelligent Systems;

– Innovations in Computer Science and Engineering Management;

– Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Digital Trust.

Upon completion of the conference, a collection of scientific papers will be published, and the best presentations will be featured in leading academic journals, including “Bulletin of KazNU: Mathematics, Mechanics, Computer Science,” “Problems of Computer Science” (Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences), and publications indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.
