Project type: Grant financing of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Code of the project: AR05131162 (01/03/2018 – 12/31/2020)
Title: Theoretical and experimental studies of innovative technology of creation of launch vehicles (LV) with the improved ecological characteristics on the example of the perspective launch vehicles launched from Baikonur cosmodrome.
The object of research, development or design: processes, as well as information flows circulating in the analytical information systems of the impacts areas, the cosmodrome and the design office for developing recommendations on innovative technology for creating launch vehicles with the improved ecological characteristics.
The purpose of the work: the creation of effective technologies to reduce technogenic impact during launches of the promising LV from the Baikonur cosmodrome based on theoretical and experimental studies of innovative technologies that provide:
a) reduction of the impact area of the separating parts of the launch vehicles;
b) a comprehensive assessment of the anthropogenic impact in the impact areas on the basis of IAS-M with various design and technological parameters of the LV stages;
c) fire-explosion safety, the lack of toxicity of the worked-off stages of the launch vehicle;
d) controlled descent of the worked off first stage;
e) increase of the scientific and technical level of Kazakh specialists in the field of military space technologies and relevant fundamental and applied research.
Research methods: experiment planning methods, numerical simulation methods, experimental ballistics methods, spacecraft control methods and technologies.
Field of application: Potential consumers of the results are enterprises and organizations of the rocket and space industry of the Russian Federation (SRC Progress JSC) and the Republic of Kazakhstan (Garysh Sapary JSC):
– when designing promising space rocket launchers, upper stages, spacecraft;
– when upgrading the software of ground-based flight control systems for spacecraft of various purposes.
