The event, organised by Novosibirsk State University, the Institute of Information and Computing Technologies of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, with the support of Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography and the Russian Siberian Section R8 IEEE, opened with welcoming remarks from the organisers.
The aim of the school-seminar is to bring together scientific research by scientists from Russia and CIS countries, exchange experience on current issues in modern science, and transfer knowledge to young researchers, postgraduates, and students.
As part of the opening programme, Alexei Sergeyevich Rodionov spoke at 12:20, Maksat Nuradilovich Kalimoldayev, at 12:40 p.m. — Mikhail Alexandrovich Marchenko, and at 12:50 p.m. — Andrey Viktorovich Materukhin (times are indicated in Novosibirsk time zone).
These presentations kicked off discussions on key topics at the school, including mathematical models, optimisation problems in big data analysis, artificial intelligence, digital twins and their application in scientific and manufacturing processes, as well as the optimisation of socio-economic systems and geoinformation technologies.
