Kazakhstan scientists, including researchers from IICT, studied advanced AI and robotics technologies in Japan

Kazakhstan scientists, including researchers from IICT made a research trip to Tokai University (Japan) as part of the BR24992875 project to develop a sign language resource complex based on artificial intelligence.

During the visit, they studied modern technologies for sign language recognition, signal translation, and automated hearing-impaired systems. Meetings were also held with leading Japanese researchers to discuss promising methods for audiovisual information processing, sensor technologies, and the application of robots for people with special needs.

The trip contributed to strengthening scientific ties, identifying directions for further research, and implementing new technologies in the project.
