Kazakh scientists conduct research work on a joint scientific project in Poland

Scientists from the Institute of Information and Computing Technologies of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the leading Polish university Lublin University of Technology on a research trip.

These days, Kazakh scientists together with their Polish colleagues began conducting research in the Optoelectronics Laboratories. Experimental work is being carried out within the framework of the scientific project of the State Fund No. AP19679153 – “Research and development of a method and technology for creating composite structures with built-in photonic sensors PSBC (Photonic Smart Bragg Composites)”.

The project is aimed at developing a new generation of smart materials with built-in optical sensors capable of recording mechanical stress in real time. These studies are of great strategic importance for our country.

The results of the project indicators can be used to improve reliability and safety in such areas as the aviation industry, mechanical engineering, construction and transport infrastructure. Such partnerships play an important role in the cooperation between the Institute of Information and Computing Technologies and the Lublin University of Technology, in the further development of international scientific work and the exchange of advanced technologies.

During this visit, it is expected that the scientists of the Institute will jointly develop experimental setups with Polish scientists, exchange experience in methods of integrating photonic sensors into composite materials, as well as prepare joint scientific publications and educational initiatives. It is obvious that such scientific relations will strengthen the position of Kazakhstan in the international scientific and technological space and will make a great contribution to the development of intelligent engineering problems in the future.
