Activities of the Council of Young Scientists

The activities of the Council of Young Scientists (CYS) are aimed at promoting the involvement of young researchers in scientific research projects, as well as expanding their participation in the academic and applied initiatives of the Institute. The work of the Council contributes to the development of scientific creativity and the strengthening of the research potential of the Institute.

The objective of the CYS is to create a sustainable environment for the development of young scientists’ research potential, to involve them in the Institute’s priority scientific directions, and to support their professional growth through participation in research projects, internships, publications, and innovation activities.

Main goals of the CYS

• Establishing an effective support system for young researchers;
• Supporting the participation of young scientists in national and international grant programs: assisting in proposal preparation, partner search, and providing information support on relevant calls (including “Zhas Galym” and others);
• Developing academic and professional competencies of young researchers: organizing scientific seminars, training sessions, workshops, and capacity-building events;
• Promoting the scientific results of young scientists: encouraging publication activity, supporting participation in conferences, patenting research results, and disseminating scientific work through media platforms;
• Expanding partnerships and inter-institutional cooperation involving young scientists: initiating joint projects with universities, research institutes, and international partners; fostering interdisciplinary approaches.
