On April 18, 2025, at 15-00, the Institute of Information and Computing Technologies will host a presentation of the book “Blockchain, Metaverse and Digital Payments, a Global Digital Consumer Perspective” as part of an international seminar. The book was published by the world’s leading publishing house Taylor & Francis Group, Rutledge, edited by the renowned scientist, academician Galimkair Mutanov, together with foreign scientists from the University of Jyväskylä (Finland), professors Aijaz Sheikh and Heiki Karaluto.

INFORMATION LETTER

The National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Institute of Information and Computing Technologies of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on April 4, 2025 at 11:00 holds a webinar on the topic “Computational Information Technologies in Geology and Geophysics.”

The main goal: To expand international relations and scientific cooperation of scientists, to promote the development of geological sciences and the use of computational and information technologies in geology and geophysics, scientific research, industry and education.

Topical issues will be considered:

• Mathematical modeling and analysis of geological data using methods of mathematical geophysics, geochemistry;
• Development of a methodology for mapping mineralogical indicators to identify promising ore deposits;
• Development of algorithms using machine learning methods to identify structural elements, lithological inhomogeneities;
• Implementation of AI algorithms for automation of geological data processing, analysis, cleaning and filtering processes;
• Integration of machine learning and AI into geological platforms with the introduction of a prototype system into trial operation and the provision of analytical reports of predictive and exploratory geological information to interested users.

We invite those who wish to make presentations on these topics.

Venue: The webinar will be held at the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the address: 67 Khojanova St., 6th floor, Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.

Participants from other countries and cities are given the opportunity to speak online.
