My name is Saule Torekul, and my professional career in the field of information technology is a logical result of many years of interest in system analysis, design, and implementation of modern digital solutions. Practical experience has shown how abstract models can transform into functioning systems that influence the efficiency of organizations and individual industries. This experience became the basis for my decision to pursue doctoral studies in the specialty 8D06102 “Computer Engineering”.
The choice of this specialization is driven by my aspiration to go beyond applied tasks and focus on identifying the fundamental patterns and principles underlying intelligent information systems. I pay particular attention to the study of artificial intelligence methods and emerging digital technologies capable of ensuring transparency, accuracy, and effectiveness of processes across various domains.
In my professional activities, I have participated in projects related to software architecture, development of parallel algorithms, numerical modeling, and intelligent data analysis. My experience includes building and optimizing computational models, applying high-performance computing technologies, and developing information systems for monitoring and analyzing unstructured data, including automatic sentiment analysis in the Kazakh language and integration with external APIs.
Alongside research tasks, I possess practical full-stack development skills: building and maintaining web applications using React, TypeScript, and Redux with REST API and relational databases on the server side; configuring APIs and handling authorization; integrating third-party services; deploying and supporting applications. This experience has allowed me to combine both scientific and applied approaches to problem-solving, providing a comprehensive understanding of both research and engineering aspects of development.
Working on research and applied projects has shaped a strong interest in intelligent automation, digital transformation, and the creation of innovative solutions aimed at long-term practical impact. This foundation has become the basis for further scientific research within the framework of doctoral studies.
Within my research work, I am particularly interested in the development of intelligent models and systems that support processes of expert evaluation and decision-making. I consider the integration of artificial intelligence methods with distributed technologies to be a promising direction, as it opens opportunities to enhance the objectivity, reliability, and resilience of information systems. Scientific activity in this area will not only deepen the understanding of theoretical aspects but also provide practical solutions of significance for both the scientific and professional communities.
I regard admission to doctoral studies as a logical and consistent stage of my professional and personal development. It will allow me to combine my accumulated practical experience with fundamental scientific training, master modern research methods, and contribute to the development of both domestic and global science in the field of information technology.
In the course of my research, I set the following objectives:
Thus, doctoral studies for me are not only a continuation of my professional path but also an opportunity for comprehensive scientific exploration aimed at integrating theory and practice, advancing intelligent technologies, and strengthening the scientific potential of society.
