I have been engaged in scientific research in the field of information security for more than 10 years. This year, I enrolled in a PhD program in this field in order to deepen my knowledge and strengthen the experience I have accumulated.

My future research will focus on information security, specifically post-quantum cryptography and its application in Internet of Things (IoT) devices. In recent years, IoT has been developing rapidly and has become an integral part of daily life. However, considering the limited computational power and RAM resources of such devices, protecting them from modern threats, especially in the era of quantum computers, becomes a challenging task. For this reason, my research will be aimed at designing lightweight yet highly secure Key Encapsulation Mechanism (KEM) algorithms.

There are several reasons for choosing this topic. First, in line with the country’s digital development strategy, the issue of protecting information systems remains highly relevant. Second, there is a growing demand within the scientific community for cryptographic solutions that are resistant to quantum attacks. Third, my strong interest in mathematics and programming, along with my aspiration to develop new algorithms, has motivated me to pursue this research direction.

The relevance of this study lies in the fact that traditional cryptographic systems cannot withstand quantum attacks. This calls for the establishment of new standards of information security. By developing lightweight KEM algorithms, it is possible not only to ensure strong protection but also to maintain the efficiency of IoT devices.

The anticipated contribution of my research can be observed in several areas. First, the proposed cryptographic solution will contribute to international scientific studies. Second, for my country, this research will play an important role in protecting national information systems. Third, for the university, this work will pave the way for publications in reputable international journals, the launch of new projects, and opportunities for young researchers to gain valuable experience.

In conclusion, my future research will represent an important step toward strengthening the digital security of the country, enhancing the scientific potential of the university, and contributing to global science.
