About myself

My name is Daruish Serik, and I am 23 years old. I completed my master’s degree at the Gumarbek Daukeev Almaty University of Energy and Communications, specializing in “Computing Technology and Software,” and received a master’s degree in technical sciences. I currently work as a software engineer at VIVIDFORMS” in Almaty.

Choosing a specialization

My choice in favor of computer technology and software was motivated by a desire to work at the intersection of theoretical knowledge and practical application. I have always been attracted by the opportunity to create solutions that can be useful to society and contribute to the development of digital technologies in our country.

Achievements

During my studies, I achieved certain results in scientific activities:

• I took 2nd place in the Republican competition for research work by students and master’s students (RWS and RWM) in the section “Computing Technology and Software”.
• I am the author of 5 scientific publications, including articles in international journals and conference materials.
• I participated in various IT events, including Security Hackathon and Student Digital Fest.

Research interests and plans

My research focuses on the application of modern information technologies to solve practical problems. I am currently working on the following projects:

• Development of a multifunctional resource for environmental certification of areas where rocket parts fall using adaptive interactive GIS representation – creation of a system for monitoring and analyzing the environmental impact of space activities.
• Development of an automatic drone recharging system based on Reinforcement Learning technology – an innovative solution that enables continuous monitoring of large areas through autonomous recharging of unmanned aerial vehicles.
• Direct technology for creating steel molds using photogrammetry, robotics, and artificial intelligence – integration of computer vision and robotic systems for the automation of industrial production.

Plans for doctoral studies

Enrolling in a doctoral program is a natural step in my academic development and my desire to improve my qualifications in the field of information technology. My desire to engage in fundamental research and obtain a doctorate motivates me to deepen my knowledge of contemporary areas of computer science and their practical application.

Doctoral research will allow me to systematize my accumulated experience and contribute to the development of domestic science. I plan to focus on current issues in the field of artificial intelligence and automation, which are important for the technological development of Kazakhstan and can be widely applied in various sectors of the economy.

Objectives and expected results

My main goal is to become a qualified scientist in the field of information technology and make a significant contribution to the development of domestic science. I strive to acquire fundamental knowledge that will enable me to solve current problems in the field of artificial intelligence and automation.

I expect that doctoral research will help me develop scientific thinking, master modern research methods, and create works that will be useful for the technological development of Kazakhstan.
