Conducting fundamental and applied research in the field of aerospace and sat-ellite technologies, environmental safety of the operation of space-borne missile systems, as well as advanced training in space activities.

The goals and objectives of the laboratory:

  1. obtaining innovative results of fundamental and applied research;
  2. attainment of profits from the commercialization of scientific research;
  3. training of highly qualified personnel in the field of aerospace and information and communication technologies.

To achieve these goals, the laboratory has the following tasks:

  • implementation of theoretical and experimental studies of innovative technology for the creation of launch vehicles with improved environmental characteristics on the example of promising launch vehicles launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome;
  • preparation of materials and participation in the competitions of MES RK, ME RK, MDDIAI RK in the following areas:

– defense research and development in the field of military applications of satellite communications, GIS technology and aerospace reconnaissance;

– defense research and development, including dual-use, in the field of weapons and military equipment operation and military logistics;

  • performance of patent and license works in the field of aerospace and information technologies;
  • attraction of students, undergraduates, doctoral students, young scientists to scientific research;
  • conducting joint scientific research with domestic and foreign universities and research centers;
  • promoting the development of public-private partnership mechanisms;
  • effective use of devices and equipment for solving scientific and technical problems;
  • participation in international scientific and technical activities.

The laboratory is actively cooperating with scientific organizations of Kazkosmos (NCSRT); Russian space Agency (NPO named after S.A. Lavochkin, Central Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, The Progress Rocket Space Centre); Roshydromet (RPA “Typhoon); MES of the Russian Federation (Moscow aviation Institute, Omsk State Technical University); ESA (Berlin Technical University, Institute of Aviation and Cosmonautics).
